School Liaison and Events Executive
Full Time / Permanent
£24,928 - £27,237 per annum – depending on experience and qualifications
Based at the St Albans campus with travel to the Welwyn Garden City Campus as and when required
Oaklands College has an exciting opportunity within our Marketing Team.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will undertake school liaison work with designated schools and other targeted organisations to develop and expand student recruitment opportunities to increase applications and enrolments. To participate in general marketing activities, provide effective support for the team and positively promote the College at internal and external events.
You will plan and deliver activities and attend school events as required. You will successfully manage the relationship between the college, designated schools and careers advisers.
An important part of the role is to increase the number of ‘feeder schools’ to the college through pro-active networking with schools. You will do this by participating with marketing and promotional activity as required to meet the needs of the College.
In addition, you will support at college events both internal and external as required including Open Evenings, Interview Evenings and Community Events. Providing accurate information to feed into the analysis on expenditure, effectiveness and progress of activities and develop student recruitment opportunities for the National Saturday Club and Children’s University, liaising with in-house teams and external bodies.
