We are seeking an experienced, positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Burnley College Fitness Evolution team as a Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, to drive the development and delivery of strength and conditioning services for talented athletes and high-performance sport clubs, at Burnley College.
With a good general education, you will also hold a UKSCA accredited coach status or equivalent and a degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant sports science subject. You will have experience of working in a gym/fitness-based environment with elite level athletes.
The postholder will take the lead in providing all strength and conditioning support to the athletes, sports students and sports teams, on their journey to success. As a specialist, you will ensure bespoke training programmes are designed to support individual students to excel and will have experience of strategic planning, delivery and monitoring of strength and conditioning programmes for performance athletes. You will need to be able to communicate effectively whilst leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver improved athlete performance.
You will be expected and encouraged to keep up to date with current developments relating to your area of expertise.
