The Position
An opportunity has become available for a 1st & 2nd Line IT Technician to join our IT Services department on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.
1 st and 2 nd line IT Technicians are primarily responsible for direct customer IT support, equipment provisioning and installation, and troubleshooting tasks across all B&FC sites. The role triages incoming incidents and service requests, provides initial diagnosis and first-fixes, escalating to third-line teams where this is not possible. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, each of the technicians are responsible for mentoring the junior IT apprentices within the End User Computing team who also provide 1 st -line services to customers themselves.
