An exciting opportunity has arisen at Rodbaston College for a highly experienced Curriculum and Resource Manager for the extensive Animal department. With over 500 Animal students enrolled onto our broad range of further and higher education courses, this is a thriving department, and we are looking for an exceptional manager to play a pivotal role and continue to drive both the curriculum and commercial aspects of the Animal department. With the introduction of International Baccalaureate in September 2022 and Animal T Levels in September 2023, alongside ongoing Animal Zone developments this is an exciting time to lead this innovative and experienced team.
Rodbaston College boasts an impressive Animal Zone which houses a wide-ranging animal collection and is currently undergoing significant improvements. This facility is used extensively as a curriculum resource by all our students whilst providing an excellent visitor attraction to the general public throughout the year. The post holder will have sound commercial acumen and further develop the strategy to continue to improve the resource and maximise income revenue to the area.
The post holder will be directly responsible for the line management and strategic direction of the Animal department to build on the existing success. With the support of 4 Programme Leaders this will involve continual monitoring and improvement of the student experience, maximising income streams and maintaining our excellent reputation.
