We are developing a new Fashion degree, focussed on the needs of this global industry with a particular emphasis on the role of digital media and design and their interaction with garment construction and retail.
We are seeking a dynamic degree level Senior Lecturer or Lecturer (Creative Practitioner) to be in at the foundation of this new course and the recruitment of its first cohort of students.
The person we appoint will work in the Visual Art faculty, driving the direction and development of the programme. They will be a part of the planning and design of a range of study modules aimed at providing students with future focused industry skills and the ability to work in the industry once they graduate.
We are looking for someone with relevant industry experience and contacts, as well as knowledge of contextual research and the current professional practice within the global fashion industry.
Higher education academic experience in the fashion would be desirable.
