Salary £7,616-£8,160 per annum - Hertford Regional College - Broxbourne and Ware Campus
Hertford Regional College are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and flexible Administrator to support the Directorate.
Department Administrators are key to the smooth running of the directorate and are the primary point of contact for all administration. You will assist in a wide range of responsibilities including general typing for the directorate, inputting and amending data on college systems, supporting the recruitment process of students, responding to internal and external enquiries and recording learner absence. You will also assist the Director and Curriculum Area Managers by arranging meetings, liaising with other college functions on behalf of the directorate, assisting with disciplinaries in accordance with the College procedure, using the college finance system, assisting with the organisation of learner visits in accordance with college procedures and recording staff sickness and holiday. This role is fundamental to the smooth running of our Academic Directorates and therefore a degree of flexibility will be required in your approach to working arrangements. The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of grade C/4 in Maths and English and a high level of secretarial and administrative skills. You will have previous experience of working in a similar role and the ability to manage information effectively and efficiently. A recognised qualification in business, administration or Microsoft Office would be an advantage. You will have the ability to work in a professional and discrete manner with learners, colleagues and members of the public. A flexible approach and a 'can-do' attitude are essential for this key post.
