BBO Administrator

0.5 part time post (18.5 hours per week) - £18,328 per annum pro rata which will be working with the team and based in Derby City. The successful candidate will work with the Director of Funding Development and Project Co-ordinator, providing administrative support to the team of Senior Work Coach, 3 Work Coaches and Job Broker. The programme was extended earlier this year and the successful candidate will have a fixed term contract until 31 st March 2023.

As Administrator, you will be solely employed on the project. The Administrator will contribute to the overall success of the BBO Towards Work programme within Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Working within Derby City, the successful candidate will work alongside the Building Better Opportunities Towards Work Project Co-ordinator, providing administrative support to the team.

The successful person will have:
  • ICT literacy to Advanced Level; including Office 365, MIS/Access Database navigation, word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hold GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths or demonstrable experience of numeracy and literacy.
  • Friendly and approachable personality.
  • Able to work well in a team.
  • An ability to plan and prioritise work and to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and with minimal supervision.
  • An ability to work effectively in a busy environment, with regular interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Ability to use specialist computer applications after training.
  • Willingness to attend internal/external meetings and events as required.
