Salary: £35,436 per annum - £36,585 per annum (dependent on experience)

West Suffolk College is one of the country’s leading further education and apprenticeship providers. Our apprenticeship results have consistently remained above the national average. We offer many degrees, HNCs and HNDs at our focused and inclusive University Studies Centre. We have around 13,000 students including nearly 2,000 apprentices studying with us.

We are seeking an individual who has a proven track record of managing Apprenticeship or Further Education provision. As Head of Business and Management (Professional Skills) you will be responsible for the management of all different program areas including, Business Management, HR, Accounting and Finance and Hospitality.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction of the operational activities of a team of delivery staff responsible for Apprenticeships and commercially commissioned work. You will drive growth within your areas of responsibility ensuring provision is financially viable and a focus on identifying future opportunities and generating additional income, whilst ensuring quality remains outstanding.

The successful candidate should be able to solve problems; finding and implementing solutions, provide inspirational leadership, and effectively manage internal and external key stakeholders.
