Nursery Practitioner

Full time and Part time

Up to £25,000 -for full time, fully qualified

For full time staff, we are offering a Welcome Bonus of £500* for Level 3 or above qualified and £250* for Level 2 qualified (pro rata for part time staff*T&C's apply).

Nestots is the College’s successful onsite, newly refurbished 90 place Nursery based in Epsom, which provides childcare for babies and children up to five years olds. We require Nursery Practitioners with a range of experience, preferably qualified with NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years or equivalent. A Nursery Practitioner with experience of working with children between 3 months to 5 years is desirable. We will also consider candidates with no experience if suitable.

Hours available are between 7.45 am – 4.30pm or 9.15 am – 6.00 pm Monday – Friday, all year round, particularly 3-5 days full days a week.

Nursery Practitioner - Duties and Tasks:

• Create a warm loving secure environment and maintain a stimulating and attractive learning environment for the children.
• Plan a programme of activities following the guidelines.
• Assist with the care, maintenance and security
• Observe each child’s progress and record their achievements.
• Liaise with parents
• Maintain high levels of supervision at all times
• To produce termly reports about the children and discuss with the parents.
• To produce a Learning Journey for each child and ensure this is kept up to date.

This role is employed through Nescot Enterprises Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nescot which operates different terms and conditions.
