Senior Learning Support Assistant
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £20,019.21 (pro- rated already)
Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday (8.45am – 5.00pm)
Contract: Term Time Only (38 Weeks a year)
We are currently seeking to appoint a number of Senior Learning Support Assistants to assist and support our Curriculum staff in a number of different departments across the College, including Engineering, Construction, Art Design & Media, Business & Professional Services and Life Skills.
In this rewarding role you will help students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to participate fully in the college experience to achieve their learning goals. You will also assist and encourage the students to be independent, develop social skills and appropriate behaviour.
Working closely with teaching staff, you will assist designated students, in either groups or on an individual basis, in accordance with their learning / learning support plans.

Ideally candidates will hold a qualification in providing learning support or will be willing to obtain this qualification. Please note Orbital South Colleges will consider candidate who are looking for job share.
