Project Delivery Lead – Green Construction Specialism

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and proactive Project Delivery Lead for a new Green Skills project. The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of the construction sector, particularly the homes and building sector, the Green Skills agenda and local skills planning. As well as having experience and knowledge of engaging and motivating learners and the barriers and challenges faced at level 1 and 2.

The successful candidate will work with three FE college and/or college groups across London along with key pilot stakeholders including, construction employers, sector bodies, local government organisations, the project funder, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the project is meeting the overall objectives in the green skills space.

The ideal candidate will have the autonomy to work using your own initiative within a collaborative and supportive team environment. To be successful in this role you will need experience of the Further Education and construction sector. You will be a proactive problem-solver who is able to build strong professional relationships at pace with new people including senior leaders and strategic stakeholders. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential coupled with accuracy, strong attention to detail and a positive approach to problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to be able to relate to our customers, clients, and other stakeholders. You will also be an effective communicator and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills appropriate to liaise with individuals at all levels. This role is home based, however there will be travel to London involved to meet the business needs of this position, such as visits to each of the providers, pilot partners, events, and team meetings.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
