About the role:
We are currently recruiting a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Learning Support team in Oxfordshire, to manage the administrative processes for learners who have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). This includes consultations, collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders, including Local Authorities, and organising and chairing annual reviews.
The successful candidate will also be required to support colleagues and faculty staff to ensure that Activate Learning is providing a consistent, supportive approach to those with additional needs.
What do you need to be a successful EHCP Co-ordinator?
You will have sound knowledge of learning difficulties and disabilities and experience of working with special educational needs. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience of chairing meetings and organising a busy work schedule. Effective professional relationships with colleagues, learners and the wider community are essential. Excellent organisational and administrative skills are required and flexibility to travel between campuses (City of Oxford and Blackbird Leys).
This is a term-time only position 08:30 – 17:00, 37 hours a week, with a 16:30 finish on a Friday.
