About the role
As a qualified Electrical Trainer/Assessor you will be responsible for managing a caseload of learners throughout their apprenticeship programmes and work placements. You will be required to attend on, and off sites visits to ensure our apprentices within their workplace has access to progress towards their apprenticeship's standards, providing clear and concise instruction on practical skills and theoretical knowledge
This is a full time (40 hours per week), permanent contract, working across Surrey.
What do you need to be a successful Electrical Trainer at Activate Learning?
You will demonstrate excellent mentorship, experience in teaching or confident delivering purposeful lessons in a classroom or workshop environment.
You will have extensive knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering, with proven experience of delivering Engineering Apprenticeships. In addition, you will hold relevant assessor or vocational trainer award D32, D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have an open mindset and attitude towards technology and virtual learning tools. Along with current Maths and English skills, you will also demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
