ICT Helpdesk Technician

Are you passionate about ICT and able to provide customer focussed first line support to staff and students? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join a large dynamic FE College in Merseyside which delivers over 300 courses to more than 5000 students from entry level to full degrees.  The College is graded Good by Ofsted, has a Gold rated HE provision and is the only education provider in the Liverpool City Region to pilot the delivery of the new ‘revolutionary’ technical qualifications, T Levels.

You will work within the Helpdesk team providing 1st and 2nd line support for users across 8 sites. your role will include general hardware and software maintenance, deployment and configuration of applications, user query resolution and the commissioning / deployment of network hardware and clients.

A relevant level ICT qualification  or equivalent industrial experience is required.  Experience of providing remote and face to face 1st and 2nd line support and expereince of computer hardward maintenance is essential.  Tecknical knowledge of Microsoft and Apple operating systems, Active Directory and associated services, and centralised anti vrus solutions is also required.
