School based Support Worker

Now Education is currently working in close partnership with a Specialist School that is looking to add to it's current staff team for the new academic year due to further expansion. Our client provides places to pupils aged 5-18 who have complex needs including Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) related conditions, trauma, attachment and anxiety. Based in rural Staffordshire, they support learning in small groups with a high staff ratio to ensure that pupils individual needs are met. The school is a fantastic setting where students come to achieve and grow due to the safe space that has been created. Some students that attend may present challenging behaviours or require additional SEMH Support. We are seeking highly motivated, resilient, dedicated, full-time Children's Support Workers who will benefit from a Monday to Friday working timetable - 8am - 4pm. The role will be to support and assist classroom Teachers, as well as promote the individual learning and progress of pupils. We are particularly interested in people who want to make a real difference to the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.
