About the role:
The Group Digital Learning Advisor will liaise with faculty partners to translate traditional curriculum design into engaging, interactive online learner journeys using instructional design methodologies to prepare online content to supply the production with a pipeline of development work, whilst identifying opportunities to embed technology in the classroom.
You will be responsible for introducing, supporting, and training mixed reality technologies by working closely with curriculum colleagues to enhance the learner experience. This will include running staff training events which involves the development of activities to support staff with the embedding of digital skills, and technology into curriculum planning.
You will ensure quality and standards of service provide business continuity in meeting the needs of the Group and support the day-to-day operations of the college learning environments (Libraries), providing support to staff and students as required to ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
We are looking for candidates with an awareness of online learning and a high degree of instructional design is essential. You will need to have experience designing engaging, interactive online learner journeys for delivery via a learning management system. The successful candidate will have the enthusiasm to introduce, support and train mixed reality technologies as well as provide generalist training on our learning management system.
We are looking for a high degree of customer service experience to underpin the relationship with colleagues in faculty.
This is a permanent, full time role with the potential to earn up to £31,276 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This position will be assigned to a base location with opportunities of working from home and may require travel to other sites.
