Hourly Paid Exams Invigilator

Wigan and Leigh College are looking to recruit enthusiastic Exam Invigilators to support our busy Examinations Team.

These roles are being offered in line with fluctuating examination needs across the academic year. They suit individuals with a flexible approach to working hours who are looking for work throughout the year, rather than regular weekly guaranteed hours. Individuals will need to be available during evenings, throughout the year, to meet invigilation needs.

In this role you will:

• Oversee and supervise examinations (both written and on-screen – a good level of ICT literacy would be advantageous)
• Ensure that exam board guidelines, security requirements and regulations are adhered to
• Set up examination rooms as per exam requirements
• you will be based between Wigan campus and Leigh Campus 

This role requires an individual with:

• A good general level of education including English and Maths
• Strong communication, organisation and customer service skills
• Initiative and a strong attention to detail

Full training will be provided, however previous experience of invigilating examinations or similar activities would be an advantage.
