Job Title: Assistant Head of School iSTEM
Preston College are looking for an Assistant Head of School to provide effective leadership to Science, Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing and Automotive Technologies curriculum areas.
Working alongside the Head of School and Curriculum Leaders you will ensure that our learners and stakeholders receive a high quality experience. You will lead and coordinate the delivery of curriculum, monitor learner progress, line manager staff and identify ways to improve curriculum delivery and share this knowledge with your colleagues.
What we are looking for
We are seeking an effective leader who can lead by example in the design and delivery of high quality teaching, learning and assessment. The ability to establish good working relationships, to motivate and inspire others and to be committed to continuous improvement are all essential to this role.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organisational and planning skills and have previous experience of leading curriculum development and quality management within a Further Education and Higher Education environment.
