Salary: £26,808 per annum - £34,107 per annum (dependent on experience)

West Suffolk College is one of the country’s leading further education and apprenticeship providers. Our apprenticeship results have consistently remained above the national average. We offer many degrees, HNCs and HNDs at our focused and inclusive University Studies Centre. We have around 13,000 students including nearly 2,000 apprentices studying with us.

The Animal Studies team are looking to appoint an animal specialist to lecture the next set of animal ambassadors! You will have experience working within the Animal Sector along with the passion and desire to pass on your knowledge and enthusiasm to our students on a range of courses.

Although teaching experience would be ideal, we are keen to hear from professionals with experience of working within the Kennels Catteries, Pet Stores or Animal Welfare Charities.

As a College, our Character Strengths and Mission Statement underpin our expectations of all our students and employees.  Please familiarise yourself with these and incorporate them into your personal statement; this will be of benefit if you are invited to attend for an interview.

This is an opportunity to join a hugely supportive organisation where we value, support and facilitate your professional development, as well as offering many other benefits including an attractive pension scheme, staff wellbeing initiatives and employee assistance.

This College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
