Development Officer - Diversity & Inclusion

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to work within AoC Sport to help implement our new strategy. To lead on the development of national projects and policies aiming to increase the number of college students from underserved groups taking part in sport and physical activity. A key part of the role is to act as the lead for our Inclusion and Diversity work, cascading and informing national policy and initiatives whilst establishing and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of influential partners within the college and sports sectors. This is an exciting time to join our team as we plan to meet the challenges of the Government and Sport England strategies as well as achieving our aim of tackling inequalities.

To be successful in this role you must be able to work with a wide range of partners to achieve shared outcomes, be equally happy to work collaboratively within a team and independently, be proactive in building partnerships and able to make decisions quickly. It is important that you can review and analyse new information quickly and accurately and use it to produce clear messages for a range of audiences. You should also value diversity at work, be prepared to work flexibly, manage multiple priorities and take responsibility for completing the job at hand to a high standard.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
