Preston College are looking for a Lecturer to teach employability and industry skills modules on construction courses. You will plan and deliver sessions, and develop appropriate learning materials.
Working within the school of construction, you will be part of a large team to create a stimulating and energising learning environment that helps our learners achieve their goals.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone who can establish open and trusting relationships with learners and develop learning materials that will help them develop employability skills for their industry, supporting them to achieve their qualifications and start a successful career.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the employment skills that are required in the construction industry. They will have effective communication, planning and organisation skills and the ability to motivate and inspire.
A teaching qualification is desirable, but if you don’t have one and are willing to work towards achieving one then we will support you to do so, both financially and academically.
