Due to substantial growth in the area, we are looking to recruit a Programme Leader, responsible for BTEC Level 3 and Higher Education Construction programmes, to drive our continued success in providing a high quality teaching and learning experience and the College’s passion for ensuring student success.
As an ambitious Lecturer, you will teach Further Education at Level 3 and Higher Education at undergraduate level in areas allocated by the Head of Construction, and supervise/assist with the supervision of undergraduate students. You will contribute to the on-going development of high quality curriculum and develop, administer, and mark exams and other assessments relevant to the programmes.
As a Lecturer you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.
With a level 6 qualification in a Building Services Engineering related discipline and a PGCE or Certificate in Education, you will possess knowledge of current issues in Building Services/Engineering related disciplines and of Green Technologies. You will have experience of working within the Building Services/Engineering Industry at a design or project management level.
The salary for this post is £36,980 – £41,637
