Pastoral Support Manager - Secondary School

Pastoral Support Manager - KS3/4 Student - ASAP Start, long-term contract - Ipswich, Suffolk - Full-Time, 8:15am to 3:30pm We are working with a Secondary Schools in Ipswich who are looking for a Pastoral Support Manager nt to start in a full-time position ASAP. This is a long-term contract and would be ideal for a candidate who is looking to work with children of varied behaviour both in and out of the classroom. This role would be supporting children across KS3, 4, 5 and may also include various support of SEN children. If you have an interest in a specific subject we look at specific roles working within certain departments within the schools we are working with. We can offer you experience in the classroom in both a 1:1 and whole class capacity, providing specific intervention support to children with a variety of needs, whilst also giving you access to develop your knowledge and experience within Education. About you Willing to work full or part time between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm Have a strong interest in working in education and supporting children's learning Pay & Working Hours Graduate teaching assistants are typically paid between £9.50 and £12.50 per hour via PAYE. Income figures are intended as a guide only. Full-time Teaching Assistants usually work between 32 & 35 hours per week. Starting the school day at 8.30am and finishing at 3.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break. There are also part-time, casual and job share options available. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, but it may become permanent at a later date upon school discretion.
