Our Study skills team is looking to recruit an ambitious and hard-working person to provide study skills advice and support to students.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pro-active and enthusiastic person to join our busy Study skills team, to assist in the planning and delivery of the StudyPlus service to students, in order to develop their English and Maths skills and become independent learners. Duties will include supporting students with their English and Maths qualifications as well as helping students plan and complete their coursework using a wide range of resources.
You will be educated to degree level and will have achieved English and Maths GCSE. You will have used a variety of learning resources in your studies and be a confident user of the internet and technology with the ability to apply your own experience of using resources to helping our students develop their skills.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of students from 16 years upwards, to support them in a positive and encouraging manner to achieve the best they can be.
You will work 37 hours per week plus occasional Saturday work to support Open Days. The study skills team deliver a cross college service and therefore the post holder will be based at Watford and Hemel campus with occasional work at our Luton sites as and when required.
