Salary Range £44,632 - £51,741
37 hours per week X 52 weeks
The Role
The Sheffield College is an anchor institution in the city of Sheffield and the local economy. We are proud of how the College contributes to meeting local skills, needs and transforms lives through learning. The Sheffield Sixth Form is a rapidly expanding sixth form centre based within The Sheffield College at City Campus.
We have high aspirations and standards for ourselves and our learners and this role will be a key one in supporting the College’s mission to be consistently great and ensure our students get the qualifications and skills they need to go further in employment, careers, apprenticeships, further training and university level courses.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Academy Director of The Sheffield Sixth Form and are looking for you to provide outstanding leadership for the College, ensuring a high-quality learner experience which leads to outstanding achievement, progression and employability outcomes for all learners.
The successful Academy Directors will be at the forefront of driving innovation and will lead on the achievement of Academy KPIs, including growth and efficiency targets as set during the college’s annual Business Planning process.
You will be integral in ensuring that Academy growth targets are met, in line with the college’s strategy (to 2025).
You will have extensive recent experience of working within the sixth form sector, a passion for driving excellence to the benefit of the students and desire to go further.
