We are seeking a Programme Leader in A Level Sciences to ensure the College delivers a high-quality experience across it’s A Level Sciences provision, effectively using resources and aiming to raise standards of learning, achievement, and extra-curricular and work experience opportunities for all A Level Science students.
The successful candidate will promote and provide an excellent learning experience in A Level Science subjects (e.g. A Level Biology) which ensures high achievement for all students studying A Level Science. You will also have experience of successful teaching of A Level Science, preferably Biology.
This role includes working as a part of a team taking the lead on key A Level Science priorities such as, Achievement, A Level Mindset, Tutorial and Enhancement programmes. You will act as a key link between the subject teaching teams, the relevant Curriculum Principal and cross-College teams to ensure that actions are taken and outcomes measured with regard to student attendance and progress.
