Laboratory Technician - Health, Science and Education

Our Health, Science and Education division are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team and to provide technical curriculum support to teaching staff and students, whilst having the ability to supervise and lead Science based practical activity and research.

You will have experience of working within a laboratory setting and you will have excellent written and oral communication skills. You will also have a degree in a Science based disicipline and a Health & Safety based qualification or the willingness to work towards a suitable qualification.

Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment and materials prior to practical laboratory settings ensuring strict Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to and to support the Science teaching teams in the delivery of the BTEC and University curriculum.

This role is full-time (37 hours per week), the basis of which can be discussed at interview stage; term-time or all year round.

The salary for this post is up to £21,104.
