Bridgwater and Taunton College are the delivery partner for the NCfN, supported by its Energy Skills and Advanced Engineering Centres, the Construction Skills and Innovation Centre at Cannington and Somerset University Centre.
The successful candidate will be based in an outstanding £15m purpose-built centre that provides a state-of-the-art training facility, including a virtual reality environment, a reactor simulator and computer-equipped training rooms, realistic training workshops; recreation and collaboration space.
Based in the National College for Nuclear, the core function of this role is the effective management of the operational resource required to deliver training and assessment activity through for the department.
This role is critical to the successful delivery of the Departments Commercial Income Target. The Co-ordinator will bring together all the resources required for a training course including; candidate bookings, invoicing, trainer/assessor schedules, delivery resources and equipment. Predominantly this is focused around a busy calendar of short courses which may be open to public bookings or offered in response to a particular employer need.
