We have an opportunity for an Attendance Officer to join us full-time, within our GCSE department on a fixed-term contract for the academic year on a term time basis, reporting into the Head of Section for GCSE.
You will be responsible for managing student attendance across the GCSE department and managing a high level of attendance for all students will be your key priority. You will work alongside course tutors to promote excellent attendance and punctuality and to help reduce levels of absence.
To be successful, you will be an enthusiastic individual who displays a high level of personal drive and energy, who will be able to contribute to managing the attendance of students across the college. You will be self-motivated, exceptionally well organised and a good team player. You will have good IT skills and have experience using Microsoft Office. Your communication skills will also be excellent and you will the ability to relate well to staff, parents/careers and students.
