About the role:

Activate Learning are recruiting Study Coaches to join our teams at Reading College. We are looking for creative individuals who are strong role models and who possess a genuine desire to work with and change the lives of young people. 

The purpose of the role is to work with students and assist them in developing their employability and academic skills and ensure that they progress into further or higher education, or into employment. 

This is a permanent, full-time, term-time only contract.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

We are currently seeking like-minded individuals who would contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment, by providing individualised coaching and support to learners with identified barriers to learning, using a range of support models. 

Support will take place in differing learning environments including within the classroom, 1:1 and in small groups. Strong team values, a desire to innovate within the learning experience, and the ability to adapt flexibly to the changing needs of learners are essential.
