The ideal candidate will be creative and able to come up with new ideas and activities to engage the children and help them to learn. Good organisational skills are also essential when working in an SEN school environment. Finally, the ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and be passionate about working with children with special needs. They should be committed to making a difference in the lives of the children they work with.

Key requirements for the role:

• Empathy, compassion and patience
• Ability to collaborate with our team of experienced teachers and support staff to create a secure, caring, and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs
• Experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable. This could include previous work experience or volunteering in an SEN setting
• Provide students with the necessary guidance and support to reach their full potential and make strides towards achieving their goals
• Work together with parents, guardians, and external organisations to ensure that our students receive the best possible outcomes
• Keep precise and current records of student progress and development
