We have a fantastic opportunity to join South Essex College as a Curriculum Leader within the Engineering and Construction IoT department based in Thurrock. As a Curriculum Leader you will contribute to the operational management, development and performance for the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment. Your primary focus will be to work with both the Head of School and Deputy College Principal to enhance the curriculum and provide an enriched learner experience. You will be responsible for the performance management of a team of staff to ensure high quality delivery with innovative teaching and learning assessments to ensure all learners meet or exceed their predicated outcomes, whilst leading the effective planning and delivery of the curriculum. As Curriculum Leader, you will be expected to role model outstanding teaching, learning and assessment across the curriculum, effectively managing the student experience, progress and welfare within the curriculum to achieve consistently high outcomes. You will need to hold a teaching qualification and have a passion for this subject area along with a degree in this subject area and at least 5 years of successful teaching experience.
