We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our team. This opportunity would suit someone who has management experience, a positive focus on employee relation matters, policy design and development as well as health & wellbeing. Our staff are the heart of our organisation and HR are key in developing and implementing appropriate people strategies, policies, and processes. Reporting directly to the Group Director, People & Organisational Development, you will be allocated key projects in your first year focussing on induction/probation, policy review, health & wellbeing as well as managing operational activity as part of the team. In addition, you will contribute to the development of key people strategies and managing the coordination of HR operational activities. You will have experience of management or working as a senior HR professional, ideally within education or a highly regulated large organisation. Management of payroll process is also essential as is design and development of policies and procedures, change management, employee relation matters arising as well as induction processes. Knowledge of legislation and up to date HR practices are also essential. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to use data with sound analytical skills and good IT skills. You will also maintain confidentiality, develop credible working relationships with key stakeholders and gain buy in to HR solutions / key strategies. Our ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above, have at least 4 years management experience within a busy HR department ideally within education or a highly regulated organisation.
