About the role
We are currently seeking a highly ambitious Director of Business Development with experience of strategic management of apprenticeship programmes and building commercial and employer partnerships. We have a clear vision to be recognised as providing outstanding education, delivering the skills needed locally and for the wider region.

Working with the Vice Principal you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Employer Engagement Strategy for the college, to deliver growth in our Apprenticeship, adult skills, commercial and community learning provision, ensuring this meets the changing needs of stakeholders. Working with the Vice Principal you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Employer Engagement Strategy for the college.
You will be expected to provide inspirational leadership to the wider team, generating new business from initial contact to the point of delivery. You will be expected to work at pace within a dynamic team to meet the needs of the local and regional economy.
About you
You will have a proven track record of system's leadership to drive growth and improvement to ensure the college makes an excellent contribution to meeting local skill's priorities. It will be desirable that you have successful experience of securing funding through the development and presentation of major funding bids and you will be confident when devising marketing strategies and plans.
