St Helens College and Knowsley Community College are looking to appoint a success coach to support the academic progress of our students on Adult programmes.
In this key role, you will be responsible for the design, delivery and development of high-quality academic skills support for students of all disciplines, and at all levels to support their retention and academic attainment.
You will liaise with academic and support service College colleagues to ensure appropriate academic skills development and support activities are in place and are accessible for all Adult students.
Working within the College Quality team, you will work as part of a busy team at the heart of the monitoring, evaluation and development of the student experience.
As Adult Academic Success Coach you will participate in and lead on, as appropriate, projects and developments in relation to Adult academic skills and student engagement activities.
The ideal candidate will be educated to Master’s level and have previous experience of delivering academic skills to students on a 1 to 1 basis and/or to groups and developing accessible and inclusive academic skills support materials.
This is an important role for the College, and the College will invest in your continued professional development to ensure that you are fully equipped to succeed in the role.
The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, effective time management, the ability to support students with higher academic skills development, the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, and a flexible approach to work.
