This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in boosting the opportunities and self-belief of young people as an enthusiastic Course Leader in Science.

About the role

Working within our team of tutors, you’ll be committed to delivering excellent teaching/learning programmes to students of all abilities. Assisting the Area Head and Assistant Area Head, you’ll take the lead on the Science Level 3 programmes, to ensure the highest standards are met for all learners and to inspire the next generation of scientists!

About you

You’ll be educated to degree level or above and/or hold a professional qualification in Science. You’ll either hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or have a willingness to work towards this within 3 years, as well as a real passion for teaching and inspiring young people. With great organisational and interpersonal skills, you’ll have knowledge of Physics, Biology or Forensic Science. Experience of teaching across a range of courses within the subject is essential, and ideally you’ll have experience of leading a team.
