The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and determined individual to be responsible for the delivery of a professional and responsive IT support service to demanding service levels. You will be working as part of the IT Services team to provide IT support services that are delivered within operational levels across multiple sites.
Post-holders will be expected to undertake 2nd line problem solving as well as network administration tasks. You should have experience of working in an IT support role, ideally in a multi-user/site environment, along with previous experience of supporting users in an Active Directory and Hyper V environment. You should have knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Office 365 suite, and other educational software and networking technologies. Additionally, experience of working with both a PC and Mac platform and using SCCM would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. It is essential that you incorporate continuous improvement in your work and have a desire to meet or exceed service targets. Initiative, customer focus and the ability to prioritise under pressure will help ensure the team continue to provide a highly valued service to the college.
