Lecturer B – Learner Support (Maths and English)

We are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Lecturer B to join our successful Learner Support Team. The successful candidate will put the learner at the heart of everything they do. You will be committed to inclusion and to supporting a very diverse group of learners to achieve their potential and realise their dreams.
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Lecturer to co-ordinate support for a range of learners, including apprentices and to lead a team of full and part time Support Tutors. You will be working alongside the Head of Learner Support and the Transition and Support Leader.
Educated to degree level, you will also hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed). We are looking for talented support staff who have the experience and knowledge of a range of support needs and specific learning difficulties. You will have experience of teaching and supporting across a range of levels and learner groups including 16-19, 19+ and apprenticeships. Your responsibilities will also include working with the Stakeholders of Bolton College to ensure that support needs are identified in a timely manner as well as supporting and delivering maths or English.
