Lecturer / Team Leader - Electrical Installation

Bury College is welcoming applications for an experienced Lecturer/Team Leader in Electrical Installation to join our Construction department on a full time or part-time, permanent basis.

Joining as a Lecturer / Team Leader you would expect to deliver excellent and inclusive teaching and learning in the classroom, in a way that inspires learners to succeed and progress. To integrate appropriate and inspirational curriculum resources including ILT into lessons and plan delivery so that schemes of work and lesson plans support achievement.

Undertaking ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress, you would ultimately aim to ensure that learners succeed through progress reviews, initiating and responding to new curriculum developments, and resource planning as 

Candidates must have up to date knowledge of the current edition of the IET wiring regulations Educated to Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation, you must have experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for NT’s) in Electrical Installation or related courses and hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills.

The role requires an individual with the ability to deliver exceptional teaching and learning to inspire, motivate and engage learners.  Producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans, you would demonstrate a background of inclusive and challenging teaching strategies as well as supporting students to attend by meeting their individual needs.
