Job Title: School Office Admin Worker Location: Wakefield Salary: £80 - £90 per day Job Type: Full-time Leader Education are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented school office admin to join one of their partnered schools in Wakefield, based across 2 sites. The school is a specialist setting that provides education for learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, and be able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Manage the school office, ensuring that it is a welcoming and organised space for students, staff, and visitors - Answer phones, greet visitors, and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner - Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behaviour, and assist with student attendance and registration - Assist with the coordination of school events and activities, including field trips, assemblies, and parent-teacher conferences - Provide administrative support to the school leadership team, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and preparing reports Qualifications: - Experience working in a school or similar environment strongly preferred - Excellent organisational and time-management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Leader Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, all applicants must go through a thorough vetting procedure, including enhanced DBS and reference checks.
