Job Title:  Work Based Tutor: Engineering (2 posts available)

Preston College are looking for a Work Based Tutor in Engineering to support our apprentices and employer partners in the achievement of their goals.

You will be expected to manage the apprentice learning experience from initial sign up and deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessments to ensure that they achieve their maximum potential. You will also create and maintain effective working relationships with employers and your college colleagues.

What we are looking for

We are seeking someone who can create a stimulating and professional learning environment which reflects workplace practices.

The ideal candidate will be able to establish working relationships quickly and maintain high levels of service. They will be part of the wider Engineering team and will need to support and cooperate with team to deliver taught sessions.

They will also develop and adopt good planning and preparation practices that lead to high quality learning programmes and sessions. 

A teaching qualification is desirable, but if you don’t have one and are willing to work towards achieving one then we will support you to do so, both financially and academically.
