nurturing Primary School based in Camden, WC1H, is looking for a talented SEN Learning Support Assistant to become a key member of their school community ASAP. The ideal Speech and Language Teaching Assistant will be an experienced SEN, a teaching assistant with lots of experience working with communication skills. You will be working closely on a 1:1 basis, with a group of Early Years pupils who have difficulty communicating using speech sounds, synthetic phonics and narrative groups to primary-aged children as directed by the Speech Therapist. You must have the skills to jump right in at the deep end and communicate on every level within the school. It is essential, that you are the kind of teaching assistant who is willing to take on extra responsibilities and can demonstrate commitment. You will also need to show a sincere interest in the well-being of your pupils as an SEN teaching assistant and be able to provide dedicated pastoral support. This is a full-time role to start ASAP and will continue for the rest of the academic year.
