About the Role
Hartpury’s profile is rapidly growing. It is working closer than ever with the business community and affords an array of outstanding sponsorship and business engagement opportunities. The Sponsorship and Business Engagement Officer will support our recent growth in this area, working closely with the Head of Sponsorship to identify and secure appropriate sponsorship opportunities, manage existing relationships and match the capabilities and strategic aims of Hartpury and its partners to develop strategies for winning new business.
About You
You will be highly organized, a self-starter, and proactive. A positive personality is key to manage our wide-ranging stakeholders, ensuring we deliver for existing clients and grow our partnerships. You will be a natural networker, entrepreneurial and experienced working with private sector partners.
You will help create a network of relevant stakeholders both in and outside Hartpury, to include all relevant department leads across Hartpury (sport, equine, animal, agriculture, veterinary nursing) and external business networks. The role will ensure a joined up and consistent approach to sponsorship strategy.
You will develop excellent relationships with clients and actively create leads through meetings, networking events and emails. In partnership with the Head of Sponsorships, you will develop promotional and marketing materials along with other sales activities across Hartpury.
