Learning Support Assistant - Charleton C of E Academy

The Learning Academy Partnership (Charleton C of E Academy) has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Trust! Lying at the heart of our community, Charleton is set in extensive grounds, framed by the stunning backdrop of the river estuary and open countryside. As a small village school there is a real sense of community, and the outdoor environment is very much part of the daily curriculum where a wealth of natural resources makes learning exciting and awe-inspiring for all children. Our vision at Charleton is for every child to be confident and happy as we nurture and support their development, helping them achieve their full potential through a rich and engaging curriculum. We value our incredible relationships with our families and local community, working together along with our Hub Schools (West Alvington C of E Academy and Thurlestone C of E Academy) to enable all children to live life to the fullest, regardless of their starting point. We provide a range of experiences and opportunities for all, removing barriers to learning so every child, even the most vulnerable, can flourish. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will work alongside a highly passionate team to ensure children are cared for, inspired, and challenged. Our ideal candidate will have experience supporting and nurturing the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and will be committed to making a profound difference to the lives of our most disadvantaged children. We are dedicated to building an authentic workforce, so if you are excited about this role but your past experiences looks a little different to what we ve identified, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may just be the perfect candidate! We are looking for someone who is inspired by our mission and wants to be part of a Trust where everything begins and ends with children. We encourage applications from people from all backgrounds and aim to have a workforce that represents the wider communities that we serve. We champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing and aim to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and a sense of belonging. Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish. We can offer you: An opportunity to make a profound difference to children s lives A culture that takes work life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues The chance to work as part of a collective in a values-led School Trust, a single organisation Opportunities to develop your career with our growing School Trust through our excellent development practice A strong, proactive wellbeing network across the School Trust Access to a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme Trust benefit schemes Generous Local Government Pension Scheme All our schools are each at the centre of their local communities and celebrate their individuality and distinctiveness. A core feature in how we work as a School Trust is our collective approach in delivering an exceptional education for all children. We do this through working very closely together in mutual support and challenge to empower excellence for our children, families, and the communities that we serve. In short, our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.
