About the role:

This role is about putting teaching, learning and assessment front and centre of everything we do.

Leading a team within our Createch provision, you will inspire, innovate and support your team to deliver an exciting curriculum that equips students to prosper on rich digital and creative career pathways.

You will have responsibility for creating the conditions for driving quality of teaching, learning and assessment to ensure learners and your team have an outstanding experience and develop the skills, knowledge and attributes needed for their career progression.

Faculty Coordinators will support you in ensuring high quality organisation and compliance.

The role requires a proportional teaching commitment. You do not need to have taught any of the above subjects to be considered for this post as you will be joining a large group with a supporting infrastructure and tools in place for you to succeed.

This is a full time, permanent position based at our City of Oxford College campus.

What do you need to be successful as a Faculty Manager at Activate Learning?

You will be an inspiring manager, responsible for developing teachers and assessors to improve team performance, with a corresponding improvement in the student experience and outcomes.

You will have an aptitude for using technology to enhance learning coupled with good planning and organisational skills. Experience of facilitating or leading outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and achieving excellent outcomes for learners is essential.

Experience of Creative or Technology subjects is be essential, with knowledge of UAL, BTEC and T Level qualifications standards.

In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
