About the role: Exams Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Exams Manager to join our Oxford team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity until June 2024.
As an Exams Manager, you will manage and lead the Examinations Officers and Exams Invigilators to support the smooth running of all examination processes at City of Oxford College and our Technology Campus in Blackbird Leys.
Our Examinations Team are responsible for all matters relating to the students' outcomes – obtaining information from Faculties, registration of students with awarding bodies, entering students for exams, running of the exams, processing of results and providing examination data as required.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Travel across our Oxford sites is a requirement for this role and hybrid working will be considered. Salary: £35,193 Per Annum
What do you need to be successful as an Exams Manager at Activate Learning?
This role could suit an experienced Examinations Officer or Examinations Coordinator looking for the next step in their career, or could be an excellent opportunity for a manager with experience in an educational environment looking for a new area of development.
You will have excellent organisational and IT skills, along with a high level of communication and customer service skills to enable you to communicate effectively with our customers. The ability to manage and lead a team will be core to the role.
About you:
You will also have the ability to use your own initiative and be friendly and confident in dealing with day-to-day systems, procedures and students.
