Veritas Education is working with an all-boys grammar secondary school based in the London Borough of Brent. They are looking for a graduate learning support assistant who can tend to the high academic needs of their pupils. The school will require individuals who will contribute to the school community and be co-operative with the school's ethos.

The learning support assistant will need to be able to recognise individual needs of pupils and support them accordingly. You should also have intermediate knowledge of the curriculum and be open to work within a variety of subjects at the school. You will also need to be creative to contribute ideas and work alongside the teachers. This role will also be challenging but rewarding at the same time, as there may be some challenging behaviour from pupils. Having previous experience in behaviour management or in secondary schools will beneficial to this role.

Requirements and Key Skills

• Degree level is preferred
• High levels of professionalism
• Contribute knowledge of curriculum to support.
• Be proactive within the classroom.
• Subject to DBS Check
