Are you an experienced and enthusiastic MFL practitioner looking for a long-term supply role in a school in Ashford? Do you have the skills and knowledge to lead and develop the MFL department and deliver outstanding lessons in French and Spanish? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
We are looking for a long-term supply Lead MFL practitioner for a School in Ashford. You will be responsible for overseeing the MFL curriculum, managing and mentoring the MFL staff, and teaching French and Spanish to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. You will also be expected to monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback and support to students and parents, and contribute to the school's ethos and vision.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS)- A degree in French, Spanish or a related subject- Experience of leading and teaching MFL in a secondary school setting- A DBS check on the update service or willing to apply for one- A passion for languages and cultures
This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible and lasting until the end of the academic year. The school is located in Ashford, a town in Kent with good transport links and amenities.
