Year 2 & Year 6 Teacher, Openshaw
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Class Teacher to teach Year 2 & 6 in a 'Good' primary school in Openshaw, starting as soon as possible. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced teacher. You will need to have taught in Key Stage 1 and 2 or completed a teaching placement in Key Stage 1 and 2. Excellent understanding of assessment and differentiation is essential order to enable the children to make progress at the best possible rate.
You will need to have a strong understanding of the curriculum for this age group and be an engaging teacher who can enthuse and motivate the children with their learning. A creative approach to teaching, and the ability to make innovative links between subjects, is required.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK primary school. You will need to have taught in KS1 & 2 and have knowledge of KS1 & 2 statutory assessment. You will also need to have up to date Safeguarding training. You can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
