An Office Manager position has arose within a Primary School in Birmingham - Great Barr. This is your opportunity to be apart of a loving school team.
To be successful for this role you need to be capable of ensuring proper flow of office procedures, and support the school by carrying out common office duties. You MUST have 12 months experience working within a UK School establishment and SIMS trained.
The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & committed Office Manager, who will work in partnership with the headteacher, staff and school community, to run the school office, ensuring effective communication with out families and to support the continued growth and improvement of the school.
The school is seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, organised & highly motivated individual to work in the school office & support the team to establish the smooth running of the front of house from the outset. You must be able to maintain a positive and friendly School image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, pupils, and parents in person, online, and via telephone.
The successful candidate will need to have good literacy and numeracy levels, excellent IT skills and enjoy working in a busy school environment. The role will require you to perform administrative tasks, communicate effectively, welcome all visitors and parents to our school, organise events and use our online systems for reporting and communication. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and should be able to demonstrate that they can work as part of a team, be able to prioritise, be tactful & diplomatic & be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Working hours are generally 8:00am to 4pm, although some roles, particularly those that are student facing, can include weekend or evening work. You may have to work overtime at certain points in the year, for example during examinations, enrolment or academic quality visits.
Part-time work and job shares are usually offered, and term-time only working is sometimes possible.
